Cambridgeshire Police officers are set to take action on "community concerns" in Wisbech.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team have started increasing patrols and enforcement action against illegal parking in the town centre.

The force have said that failure to observe road markings and signage in Wisbech town centre could result in a fixed penalty notice.

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said: "Please be mindful and considerate when parking around the town centre; illegal parking has a wider impact on local residents and businesses.

"We will endeavour to continue regular parking patrols alongside our other policing activities."
