Two Fenland homes are set to be demolished and replaced by six more.
Developers named as Mr and Mrs Lee have ben given outline planning permission to build up to four two-storey properties and two bungalows on Leverington Road, at Wisbech.
A planning statement says: "Due to the scale of the site, its shape and position, it is likely that the proposal will take the form of a comprehensive development with frontage housing and a tandem pair of detached bungalows served from a central driveway.

"There is ample space within the site to accommodate six dwellings of this nature as well as providing sufficient garden space, parking and turning in accordance with adopted standards."
It adds "a large number of new trees" would also be planted around the site, to boost biodiversity.
It comes after plans for eight properties on the same site were turned down last year.
Existing properties on the site will be demolished. Detailed plans must now be agreed by Fenland council before building can begin.
