A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “More than 20 firefighters, including crews from Wisbech, March and Stanground, along with crews from West Walton and King’s Lynn attended the incident.
“Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the roof of a four-storey mid-terrace building.
“They extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 8.50pm.”
Crews made regular inspections throughout the night of March 12 and into the following morning to ensure the area was safe and the fire was fully out.
The spokesperson said the cause of the fire was accidental.
